The Kansas Masonic Foundation began its Outreach Programs in 2003. These programs are designed to provide free screenings for prostate and skin cancer and free risk assessments for breast cancer. Medical staff from KU Medical Center are on hand to perform the screenings and answer questions from the public.

The program is sponsored by the Kansas Masonic Foundation and hosted by a Masonic Lodge in six different regions of the state.  The 2009 programs were held this fall on August 8 in Salina with 115 in attendance.  A total of 114 registered on September 26 at Hays.  Other clinics were October 10 at Fort Scott, October 17 at Halstead and November 14 at Garden City.  The November 7 event at Lawrence was cancelled and will not be rescheduled.  The five 2009 events drew an average of 61 individuals.  A total of 304 people registered this year.  The six 2008 events drew a total of 213 registrants (36 average per site).
