The Partnership for Life Campaign was the most ambitious fund raising
effort ever undertaken by the Kansas Masonic Foundation. The
campaign was launched in November, 2003, when the Foundation pledged to
raise $15,000,000 to support cancer research and assist the KU Cancer
Center in its goal to achieve designation from the National Cancer
Institute (NCI) as a Comprehensive Cancer Center. The Campaign
goal was reached on April 9, 2008 when the Foundation received a $2
million gift from the Mark and Bette Morris Family Foundation. To
date the Foundation has given to the Kansas Masonic Cancer Research
Institute more than $15.3 million. The Partnership with the KU Cancer Center is a Partnership for Life. So our need for gifts continues.
